We here at GinaCaranoNET are always looking for ways to engage with our community and provide opportunities for our members to connect with each other. However, we want to find ways for you all to interact with each other that are not your run-of-the-mill social media trends. So after some creative brainstorming with our team, we have decided to hold an event via social media this coming Saturday, 12 June, which just so happens to be the international Family Health and Wellness Day. Gina had mentioned a little while ago that she wanted to start a health rebellion and we couldn’t agree more. With this past year being what it was, we could probably all do with a little more encouragement to get out and exercise. So we thought, let’s just go do it. Why don’t we just start a #HealthyRebellion? I mean…we are the Rebellion, right?
So, in order to celebrate this healthy revolution, let’s get out and exercise this Saturday. We’re even giving you a little incentive to get outside and get some fresh air.
One lucky winner will receive the Cara Dune Hot Wheels that came out (and sold out almost immediately) this past spring. If you want to be entered to win, here’s what you need to do:
- Record a video of yourself (no shorter than 15 seconds no longer than a minute) working out
- Post it to social media and tell us what workout you did
- Use the #HealthyRebellion and tag @ginacaranonet
- That’s it!
- Winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries from either Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter
This workout can be anything: a walk around your neighborhood, a swim, a yoga secession, or a weight training session. Whatever! Just get up, get your heart rate up, and then (maybe) make a schedule to continue working out. If you need any inspiration, we have some resources from the lady herself. We want to encourage our community as much as we want to have space where we can celebrate Gina Carano. So get out your dumbbells, strap on your walking/running shoes, roll out your yoga mat, or get out your jump rope, and show us your gains! Get to it!
